Are compromises allowed in non compoundable cases. This is a forgery case when someone forged our land documents and sold our property. He has been arrested under 420,465,468 and 471. The Police will be filing a chargesheet shortly. I believe that there is a supreme court judgement in 2012 which rules out compromises in non compoundable case (forgery, rape, murder) etc and the court has to prosecute assuming enough evidence is present.
