My company had offered me an appraisal letter stating that
my salary has been revised to such and such amount duly signed my the MD and acknowledged
by me.
Consecutively the next day i put my papers and started
serving my notice period of 30 days.
Now i have been informed that my appraisal has been
withdrawn and i will be paid on my previous pay scale. None of the HR policies
talks about such a situation. I wanted to know your view on this issue.
When enquired the reason given by the HR is that these are
internal management issues and need not be disclosed to the employee.
Kindly guide me on this issue.
I have a written document of the appraisal signed by the MD of the company.
