P. Venu (Advocate) 13 May 2016
The mere investigation into an alleged offence need not adversely affect police clearence for passport.
Siddharth Dev (Advocate) 13 May 2016
i suggest first look into bail order whether court specifically applied condition i.e., not to leave india
again i want to add that matter may be subjudice but in general court have to belief that accused will not flee from justice.
Pawan S (Advocate) 13 May 2016
Till the person is convicted the accused in any case is innocent and the matter remains sub-judiciary. Thus, this case will not affect police clearance for a passport until court specifically applied condition into bail order, not to depart India.
T. Kalaiselvan, Advocate (Advocate) 14 May 2016
The police clearance certificate shall be submitted by police for the purpose of passport, you just wait and see what report they give, if there is any adverse report you will be called for explanation, you can give an explanation accordingly.
