Plz Advice

Hi ,

 Respected members,

We are traders of food grain {food commodities} like pulses. We have purchased one commodity from Jaipur in 2006 & we are in U.P.

Because of very much lower quality we returned goods back with the same  after 7 seven days. we informed sales tax office at that time

they said ok. And we have all the proofs of goods returned. we have also the party goods receipt , who received the good back withe same.

Now at the time of sales tax case ,S.T commissioner  says that they need "F" form , otherwise they impose tax on us.

plz help .

regards,

The sale tax can be charged only if there is a sale. Since you bought the goods from Jaipur sale tax may be payble by the seller in Jaipur and once the goods return in jaipur again seller in jaipur can claim refund.

As per your query no sale has occured in U.P.  so no sale tax is payable.
