Reg open parking spaces sold by builder

Hello,

I am a secretary from an apartment in Chennai. Our building was started in 2013 and competed in 2016. After some months, Builder started to mark many open places as parking and started to sell them and is not giving us the approved building which usually includes the parking spots. I would like to know if the practice by builder  is legal and ways to get the approved plan to verify . Thanks

Open parking comes under common area and it's sale is illegal and no ownership is given to the buyer. Stilt cannot be put use other than parking. Complain to the municipality, who will demolish any construction or will seize it.

Buyer cannot be forced to take possession without OC and any charges due, before sale deed and possession, will be paid by builder.

You can file a consumer complaint.
