Register flat for nri

Hi ,

I am  working in USA and recently I have booked a flat in kerala , I have given the POA to my relative for executing bank loan. my loan got sanctioned and the builder asked my POA to sign the sale contract and deposit the remaining amount to builders' account so that bank will release 80% loan to the buider.

so here my question is-

1:How can I register the flat in my name with out going to kerala ?

2:Do I need to take care anything before  my POA sign the cotract and release the money from the Bank ?

Thanks inadvance

When the duly appointed POA buys the property - he does so on your behalf and not for himself. If the POA is good and notarised by Indian Consul in your country and subsequently registered by Registrar there should be any problems, to overview the transaction contemplate a local adv/relative ther ein Kerala

Thank you so much for your Quick reply so you are saying that the registration would be signed by  POA   but the propertly will be in my name , is that correct ?
