I have a registered release deed from the year 2005,but due to some reason it was not mutated on property card. Is the release deed still legal and can it be mutated on property card. Please let me know.

Once a property is released by some one to another it is valid and permanent.

Yes, released deed is perfectly valid, on basis of such release deed mutation can be done.
