Dear Mr. Tapan Mitra,

1. Will document must be registered since it will save the benifiicary for to get the Will probated after the death of the testator. The Will can also be ordinarily be notarized but then it will need to be probated after the death of the testator.

2. Registration of the Will document can be made with the sub-registrar under whose jurisdiction the testator resides.

3. If need be to discuss further opt to have a telephonic private legal consultation with this lawyer.

It is not compulsory to get the Will registered. However, it is better to get it registered in the registrar office to avoid disputes in future.
