Sale deed without cheque number

Hello Sir

I have got registration of a plot in HMDA approved layout an year ago and the sale deed just says  thet, “ Total Sale Consideration of xxx Rs is paid by vendee in full by bank transaction.”

My doubt is , is it compulsory to include Cheque Number through which Sale Consideration is paid?

Please help with your suggestion.

Regards
Kumar

1. "IF" the Sale Deed is duly Stamp Duty paid and duly Registered, THEN there is no need to mention cheque details.  However, get a Bank Certificate of the amount paid, for your income tax returns and any futuristic requirements.

You can also get a certified copy of Xerox of paid cheque on both sides from your Bank and may enclose to sale deed for your satisfaction as such proof is not really necessary.

Hello,

Not necessary to include cheque no. in agreement. Bank statement can prove that you made payment.

I agree with experts.

No need to mention cheque number in the Sale Deed, if it has already been executed and registered with Sub-Registrar.
