Sec 27 of indian evidence act

If nothing was recovered in pursuant to the confession statement given by the accused, and a panchnama has been prepared while the police officers went for recovering something on the basis of confession statement given by the accused(but nothing was recovered) can that evidence be relied by the court u/s 27 of Indian Evidence Act?

When nothing recovered, may or may not be on the basis of the confession of the accused, how that can be treated as an evidence? Nothing recovered means no fact or evidence.

Very well explained by Mr. Jigyasu. Nothing recovered means no evidence found.
