This is regarding the pollution from the sewage treatment plant of Cochin International Airport at Nedumbassery - Kerala.The plant is situate in a thickly population area.From the plant with in 15meters there is a house and in 45meters there is house.The neighbourers are filed a petition in the hon’ble High Court of Kerala and the court directed the Nedumbassery Grama panchayat to take action with in 6 weeks from the receipt of the copy of the judgment.The judgment was in 2001.But the panchayat cannot take action after conducting a hearing.After two months the neighbourers approach the advocate to file another suit against the Nedumbassery panchayat.But the advocate says that the court give time to panchayat to take action.But now the advocate says that the case file have lost from his custody because of the judgment reaches 7.5years old.The neighbourers are ignorant and poor.So what can do the neighbourers to remove pollution?in the judgment the plant is working against all the criteria,but the pollution control board give license to operate the plant.But the grama panchayat cannot give license to the plant.so what is to do to remove pollution?Now the neighbourers have suspect that the advocate fell in to the respondents side influence, that is the reason may he denies to file a petition against the plant, so what is to do the neighbourers to execute the court directives.
