You can register a cancellation deed at the register office

You have to approach a civil court with a suit for cancellation of document.  Once a transfer of property is effected  - by sale, gift, settlement or by any means whatsoever, the same can be cancelled only by a method known to law which is a suit for Decree of cancellation of document.  Registering a cancellation deed at the registry will not affect the rights of the transferee.  The suit has to be filed within the period of limitation.
