The Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, commonly known as the PoSH Act, was passed in 2013. It defined s*xual harassment, lay down the procedures for complaint and inquiry, and the action to be taken in cases of s*xual harassment

Any act that has s*xual connotation wherein the other party is not the consenting party can be termed as s*xual harrasment. Even making sign or impression having obscenity is sufficient to be counted as act of s*xual harrasment. 

Well you have following remedies:- 

1. You may made a complaint to the nearest police station.

Complaint can be written be more specific about dates and time of the events that you believe to be an act of s*xual torture. Don't be vague and uncertain in your descripttions of the particular while writing the complaint. It can be oral as well you can simply state the things to the officer in charge of the Police station and he will reduced the same into writing.

2. If you don't feel comfortable to starigtaway approach the police station i would like to inform you that nowadays, most of the State police provides option of filing e complaint.

3. You may also note down the email IDs of the respective officers from the website of Police station concerned.

4. You may also sent a representation/application to the SSP or SP concerned of your area.
