Hi all
A residents' association is registered under the societies act, where its bye-laws defines members as the house owners and prescribes that only the owners have a voting right in the elections and general body, is to be changed? please instruct me as to find out the options left out. What are the possibilities of passing a resolution and who are to vote for the resolution?

The Resolutions are adopted at General Body meeting where only the members/owners have a right to vote. When any resolution is adopted, it has a member as a proposer and another member as senconder. The resolutions are passed by the Governing Body with support of majority of voters present. The Management of the Association can be changed only by voting of members only and there is no other option as such left, unless there is some disciplinary action initiated by the Registrar and thus if such a committee is suspended by replacing another members as temporary care takers till the final elections are held.
