Special marriage act provisions creating problem

My girl friend and me are from two different communities (religions) and we are trying to get married on our own. Both of us reside in Delhi however neither of us have anything else than PAN cards / private mobile bills / Bank A/C (non PSU Banks) and as common citizens we don't want to bring the local SHO into the scenario to spoil the mood of the occassion. I am 30 she is 26 and both are employed. Now my question to my law professional friends is - Is the Special Marriage Act too stringent to deal with when it comes to

a) Address Proof (which no one has of what is prescribed as per the book)

b) Sending notices to the address of the parties (my girl is reluctant to let her parents know until we have a hard copy of the marriage deed in our hands, as they are not going to be very happy with this move of hers)

If any lawyer friend can help by sharing his email id and a hint about the fees (apart from the government's 100 INR) I will be glad to be his/her client for all civil matters.

PS: kindly no questions about our religious identities please

1. Show the address of her friend as her address which is commonly followed in such cases,

2. The Act is not at all stringent to comply with but you shall have to addess the basic requirements as to you should have an address to be located at where the notice will reach,

3. Contact the marriage registrar of your locality. He will guide you accordingly.

Where do you or your girlfriend live in Delhi, get/create rent agreement of the house and apply for registeration of marriage under Special Marriage Act, no need to intimate parents, if yoou feel .

under the special marriage act the hon'ble high court of delhi has directed the registrar's of marriage not to send notices. the address part of it is a must, and loopholes are there as described by my learned friends. you can contact me if you like for any help regarding the same.
