The BNS outlines the steps to stop and catch corruption through increased accountability and transparency. To deter from corrupt practices the BNS has mandated regular audits of public officials activities and financial disclosures. The whistleblower protection provision individuals within the society to report unethical behavior without fear of retaliation, fostering a culture of integrity.

For accepting the bribe and engaging in corrupt practices if he is found guilty, severe penalties have been outlined by the BNS including the imprisonment, fine or both depending upon the severity of offense. This law aims to deter against corruption.

The liability of the builder under the BNS gives an avenue for holding the individual or any entities accountable for corrupt practices. If the builder is found to be guilty along with Ravi such as for bribing he may face criminal charges under BNS. For committing corruption or for direct involvement this could be included.
