My mother wants to gift me a commercial property so, do i have to pay stamp duty according to the market rate or is any nominal stamp duty is payable? The property is located in Maharashtra. Please give me citations if any, and what laws should i refer to clarify my doubts and study the procedure of this entire transfer.
Is there any special provision if the transfer is between blood relation?

it depends where r u resides,
in maharashtra there is consession to pay stamp duty in blood relation,
in general cases stamp duty is 5% and registration fee is 1% of valuation
but in blood relation stamp duty decreases to 2% n registration fee is of 1%
