Termination during pregnancy

Sir, My wife has been serving in a engineering college from 1st june 2008. Looking at her services she was confirmed after the first year of service and has been working in the institute till date. Looking at her work and her achievements she has been given 6th pay scale which is more than her HOD. Last year she was deputed to the university as a Asst Director of sports for one year. She joined back to her mother institute on the 7th of Feb 2014.

On the 21st of Feb 2014 she was given a termination notice of 3 months from the day of receipt of the letter. She is pregnant and is expecting the child in the first week of July.

We have filed a case in the court. But the lawyer is not giving a clear picture.

Kindly advice to as what bonus and maternity benefits she is entitled to.

 

Please HELP AND ADVICE.

She is entitled to get the full salary and maternity leave.

even you are not giving clear picture.  termination notice was on what ground and how pregnancy is connected with termination.

you are telling that she was deputed by university but was she relieved by the college.

 

you are also not telling whether college is private or government.

The Maternity Benefit to a private establishment and Govt. establishment may be different.

Termination can not be effected during the period of Maternity Benefit.

Did she inform the employer about pregnancy under acknowledgment?
