sir my father owed a loan from a bank in 2008 and due to some reasons it was defaulted . bank started legal proceedings and withdraw the case of bounced cheque in 2012. then loan was handed over to other bank/recovery agencies in 2012. till last year there was no letter issued by new bank and now again they are claiming the debt amount from my father since few days, somewhat unlawfully.. please guide me and can we use the limitation act in this matter ?
