Tm agent

Hello All,

1. As per the Indian TM Act, to represent the client for the registration of TM  one has to become TM agent. But there is an option for Attorneys to file online also. To file online TM, Is it necessary to become TM agent or any Advocate who registered himself in the state bar can also apply online for his client?

2. Other than TM agent, can an Advocate apply for registration of TM on behalf of his client through pre-paid postal services and thereafter can he give the replies to office actions by e-mail to the registrar till the registration completes?

Please advice how to proceed for TM registration both online and offline.

Thanks in Advance.
