Warranty not being honored from jeeves consumer services

I had purchased a Bajaj microwave oven through Flipkart with Jeeves extended warranty of two years.

Now that the oven is out of order, Jeeves is not willing to honor their warranty. Multiple times complaint has been made and it has elicited an answer that they will help. They sent their service engineer also and finally, now they say to get the job done from Bajaj on a payment basis (Meaning that they do not want to honor their warranty).

I am reluctant to take legal action as the cost of the oven is less than Rs. 6000/ As already mentioned multiple messages had no effect on Jeeves.

Kindly advise a suitable course of action

Issue a notice to all vendors under CP Act  and file on line complaint in district forum.  If you appear as party in person, the costs may not exceed Rs.500/- and you can pray for costs of Rs.2,000/- for refund or replacement of the oven.  In all probability the decision may be favouring consumer.

It is not the question of amount of the product/ service provided by seller / service provider but issue is qua deficiency of service or defective goods sold to the consumer.

File complaint before Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum of jurisdiction.
