Why do not Police use colored photos in Shore Goga Notices ?

Whenever Police finds a dead body ,they publish a notice for the identification of that body in the news papers. This notice is titled as "Shore Goga".

Police uses a black and white photo and that photo too is published in such a way that the closest friend of the dead may find it difficult to identify the dead body.

I am wondering ,why the Police do not publish colored photos of the dead and that too more than one photo from different angles,if they really want the dead body to get identified.

Police attempt of Shore Goga publication  seems an exercise  done just to complete the legal formalities ,which mean nothing in reality.

Plz. Contribute,my dear friends.

It is a pity that our government machineries still uses outdated technologies. Take for example 'Voters Card'. Can you confirm that it is your photo on your card? The quality is so poor.

We can not, but just vent out our thoughts on such forums and once in fifty years some good samaritan administrator can address one out of trillion issues reported.

The point is that the newspapers, advertising agents and a whole lot of other people earn money from such ads, effective or not. The search notices, notices to absconders, notices on kidnapped children etc are all scams on the public benefitting the newspapers. That is why newspapers do not report police atrocities.

The newspapers also bring ads covering three full pages on various government matters like taking over land for highways, tenders etc all bloated up to consume maximum space. The taxpayer is paying for the ads but are the newspapers going to take any action against corrupt practices of the govt, when they depend on the govt for their livelihood?
