AIBE and LLM

(Querist) 09 July 2011 This query is : Resolved
Sir/Madam,
I have 2 queries.
1)Can I appear for AIBE while I am pursuing LLM course?

2)Can I pursue LLM course while I am practicing advocacy (of course after passing AIBE)?

Answers to both your queries is affirmative.

1) One who is a law graduate, and have passed in 2010 or later can appear in AIBE if he has enrolled himself in the STATE BAR COUNCIL.

SO one can in the mean time pursue LLM.

2) If you are pursuing LLM form a regular course you cannot practice. Most probably you have to give a bond that you will not practice. And, if you are pursuing form a distance course, it is not a problem. YOu can practice.
