Ancestral property share

Dear Sir / Madam

My grandfather had two wifes
My mother is first wife daughter
Second wife son is enjoying ancestral property without sharing to my mother

We do not know property details ie land extent and survey nos

How do approach court legally

Your mother and her stepmother's son have equal rights over the property of your grandfather. You go to the village/town where the property is situated and meet the Revenue Officials and take their help for verifying the land or house details using your grandfather's name (name search in revenue records or concerned official records).

Besides the fact that the son from second (illegal) wife, presumed to be Hindu, he is illegitimate but entitled for equal share in his father's property.
