Are there any quata for women employment in private sector against total employees strength?

Dear All,

Please appraise to me .... are there any women employment reservation quota in private sector against total employee strengths? are any prevailing laws in india specially Maharashtra as same?

1. There are no prevailing Laws for the Private sectors leave aside its reference to Maharashtra.
2. Constitution of India does not compel Private sectors to lay down no such workplace diversity.
3. In my opinion ‘reservations’ should be abolished if a nation wants to progress.

No. There is no such quota all over India except any individual policy of any industrial house.

Dear Ananta,
first of all there are no reservations in the private sector as correctly stated by the experts, i just want to add that in case of your organisation ,you have to go through the internal HR Policy to know as to whether any reservation policy they follow at all.

In company there is no such reservation policy for women employment...

just i wanted to confimr that is any mandatory policy for same..?

if we decide to make policy then what would be criteria we consider while framing policy...

If your organisation decides to frame policy for reservations, the type of work, number of employees needed for the same and the men to women ratio is required.
