Stamp duty and registration

Dear All,

Please guide me, suppose I am gifting my equity shares to my brother through Gift Deed-

1. How much of stamp duty do I need to pay?

2. Is the registration of gift deed is compulsory?

My state is Maharashtra. as the stamp duty law vary from state to state.

Unexplained expenditure written off by unregistered assn

I am an owner in an apartment association of 24 flats and the association is not registered in Chennai. One of the owners had claimed an expenditure of Rs 12000 proof of which he did not submit. I had rejected this expre with majority support thro email when i was the office bearer. Now the new committee in the last meeting with other members has decided to write it off. One of the committee member now is the one who is claiming the unexpained expenditure. Can I legally proceed against the concerned members?

Partition suit

In a partition suit, the defendants who are in possession of the landed properties, intended to dragon the matter with an intention to enjoy the yield of the Landed properties. What action would be taken by the Plaintiff ? Can he appoint Court commissioner ?

Sale of share in property

Kindly advice. .
There is a registered WILL pertaining to the residential immovable property .

Where in it mentions the property has to be equally shared 1/3 each
among the three siblings.

There is no mention of metes and bounds in respect to division /equal sharing.

Hence by self demarcating his 1/3 equal share one of the share holder
sells his share to a third party.

Query ..is this sale Legally valid?

Consumer complaint

My 4 wheeler met with an accident one back. I loged a claim and leave my vehicle at garage. The owner of the garage took my signature on misc insurance papers for cashless etc etc. After on one I went to garage and pay Rs.35000/- for my part as per the garage. They issued a gate pass after all PDI done. When I start running my car a sign was displayed on the pannel. I informed the same, then they replied that you shound go for allignment and balancing at your place. But when I come near my hosue the vehicle start bubling and the left side side tyre with rim tottaly remove from the car. Then I booked a crane to park my car in safe place. I informed the garage for the same but no result. KINDLY GUIDE WHAT TO DO IN THIS MATTER.

Amendment of trust deed

I want to know how to amend trust deed clause of power of trust, is any provision to amemd this one.
Actually we want to add to give loan to other trust or any other person in deed.
Is this possible.

Property issue

Father name Shivaiah (Family consists of : 2 sons (Narasimha & Janardhan) & 3 Daughters (2 of them expired). myself prasad from hyderabad purchased land in the year Nov 2013 from Narasimha which was registered in 2000 year (Sale Deed) which was in his name saying purchased through CASH, as witness second son mr. Janardhan has also signed. land measurement : 14 Guntas (1700 yards) Problem hear : Narasimha elder sister approached through a agent (broker) saying that i have a share in the land which belongs to her great grand father, she shall approach court saying shall file case against me(prasad-purchaser), however the land is in the name of his brother Narasimha not on his Father name (Shivaiah). How to processed further please suggest me. Best regards, Prasad

Do online lotteries come under the purview of gambling?

I understand that some states see lotteries as gambling while others don't.

The lotteries regulation act says it can only be run by states for it to legitimate but private lotteries exist as well, both offline and online.

Since lotteries are a game of chance do the gambling provisions govern them, especially the online ones? Thanks in advance.
