Change of date of birth in new passport

dear sir,
i am T.goutham, i have applied my passport recently. due to some errors, i did not enter my old passport details, i have a change in my date of birth in my old passport(06.03.1990) and in all my study certificates i have it as 06.03.1989. what should i do?

You have not mentioned the ground upon which you want to change without which it is imposible for any one of us to reply you accurately.

Apply to pass port office with an application to make rectification application and supporting affidavit.

actually my date of birth is 06.03.1989, in 1999, my parents have applied for a passport and in that application they have mistakenly written as 06.03.1990, that passport has expired in 2004, there are some changes in the names also. so, i opted for a new fresh passport in 2010 and i have not entered my old passport details in that application by mistake. i have approached the passport office and they complained about my old passport and asked me to bring an 'COURT ORDER' regarding the date of birth. please give me a suggestion, i would be very thankful to you all

You shall have to file a civil suit in the given facts and shall have to obtain a decree therefrom which can be followed by passport authorities.
