Death certificate of american citizen for property

(Querist) 17 July 2016 This query is : Resolved

We are 3 brother and I live in the house made by our father. He gifted me the house before dieing few years ago.

Sadly one of my brother living in America died in June this year.

Now my other brother who has no share in this house is asking for the death certificate of my brother who died in America.

I dont understand why he wants the death certificate as my brother was an American citizen since 1983 and never lived here.

He also has no objection to the house gifting to me by my father.

What is my brother intention in asking for my america brother death certificate.

Plz suggest.

Mr. Dipak Das,

Your question. "What is my brother intention in asking for my america brother death certificate," is quite absurd.

Do you believe that the experts here can read your bother's mind through telepathy? Ask your brother what is his intention in asking your brother's death certificate.

Moreover, if you, as a brother of the deceased, can get death certificate, why he should not, as another brother of the deceased?

Did your father gifted by registered gift deed?

If yes sit pretty.

tell your brother that you are not having death certificate, he should contact US authorities for the same.

Thank you experts.

However Mr Dhingra it would be better to be polite and share your knowledge specific to the question that too if one is aware of the topic.

If I wanted the answer on lines that you have given then I would not need an expert.

All i wanted to know the legal reasons for the my brother asking me for the death certificate.

Author @ Dipak Das,

It is good to see the thanks that you have posted for the Experts.

Senior Expert Shri P.S.Dhingra has already posted after your query is posted by you that :

"if you, as a brother of the deceased, can get death certificate, why he should not, as another brother of the deceased?"

This is a matter of common sense and no expertise is wanted for it.

Thus your query was answered properly.

You have yourself posted that:"He also has no objection to the house gifting to me by my father."

Still if your brother presses you further you can either ask him the specific reason or ask him to get it on his own.

Mr. Dipak Das,

About your question, "What is my brother intention in asking for my america brother death certificate,"can you please tell, is it a question of common sense to ask others about the intention of your brother, when nobody knows him or dealt with him.? When, being a brother, who would have been living with him for decades, you don't know what is the intention of your brother, how anyone else can say?

Even as a purchase manager, if someone tries to sell something to you, would you be able to tell without meeting him or asking some questions with what intention he wants to sell you the goods or material?

Before criticising me, you could better have made a review of your own question. If I asked you, "Do you believe ........." which part of my question do you think was not polite?
Dipak Das (Querist) 20 July 2016
Mr Dhingra
Plz spare moments and read my question again as a legal expert that you claim.

When I put the question it was obvious to the other experts that I was not seeking their clairvoyant abilities hence the responses were to the point unlike yours.

Anybody with common sense could have understood my intention and the question expect you and the same was reflected by answers of other two experts.

As a purchase manager we meet a lot of entities some with below average IQ who without understanding the product/its service pass judgements on its applicability and durability. But then we can only explain him rather being uncivilised or rude as thats what it is being professional and in business.

Well I was not criticising you one bit I was only reflecting on your views as you seemed to have not understood my basic question and its intention.
And if your above answer is your idea of polite then ....God bless you.

Mr. Deepak Das,

When you say the others have replied you to the point, can you please state, what to the point reply you got about your question, "What is my brother intention in asking for my america brother death certificate?"

Also, when I replied, "if you, as a brother of the deceased, can get death certificate, why he should not, as another brother of the deceased," was not that my reply to the point.

Rather it was a matter of common sense that you should not have asked such an irrelevant question on intention of your brother, which was neither a problem, nor had any legality from any angle. Is not it a matter of commonsense that if, as a brother, you were not able to understand the intention of your brother how others, who neither know you, nor your brother, could guess the intention of your brother?
