Sir pls. guide me the procedure of depositing the shop Rent in the court(Delhi Rent Control) as Landlord is refusing to take the Rent by way of Personal tender,Moneyorder and even demanddraft sent by Regestered Post.
He is threathing for filling case for not giving rent.
Can I Deposit the Rent in the court on my one.

why r u worried?

let him threat...u just keep all the documents in tact to show ur bonafide.

keep whole of the amount on one side so that if he files the case, u ll be able to tender the rent in the court, but keep on sending the money orders and notices for the acceptance of the rent.

u ll get one opportunity by the court to deposit rent in the court if files the case.

Yes you may deposit the rent in the court. Don't be defaulter.

You can file the returned money order, Demand Draft in a Rent Control Court and obtain an interim order of deposit of Rents in to Court
