In Bengal the son does not acquire any interest in presence of the father. So you decide.
Raj Kumar Makkad (Expert) 04 January 2010
Not only in Bengal but in all parts of India son do not have say in the ancestral property during the life time of his father so your father had properly advised you at that time not to speak anything against his uncle because he (your father) is still alive and he shall see the matter but now the situation has changed on the demise of yoru father and you have taken his place so you have every right to see the matter as earlier advised.
