Hi All,
The divorce case I filed is in interrogation phase.
I would like to know:
1) Can I submit an object of proof at the time of argument.
2) Can a Divorce be granted by Sessions court ?
3) Will Divorce be granted after deciding on alimony ?
4) Will I be asked to submit IT-Returns before the judge can decide on alimony?
Any suggestions are always invited.
Thanks and Regards,
Kiran.

1. You can object at the time of evidence and not later than that time.
2. Not sessions court but by district judge or additional judge as sessions judge have criminal powers whereas district judge (though generally both are same and one person)have civil powers.
3. yes.
4, This is the onus upon the party who so ever asserts.

It cannot be "interrogation stage". It should be trial stage. This is my suggestion.
Rest, I agree with Expert opinion.

You should have filed reply to the divorce petition and averred your facts and denied allegations of the petitoner and placed documents if you have according to your pleadings.,and confronting documents to disprove allegations of the petitioners.
