Every matrimonial case go for mediation?

Matrimonial cases 498a, HMA section 9, 125 crpc, dv etc.

Do court send them for mediation automatically?

Not automatically, but the courts are directed to do mediation and see for possible reconciliation in matrimonial disputes. So they send the matters to the mediation cell for possible compromise. Also, where there are family courts, the family courts act specifically provides so, that in every suit or proceedings the courts shall make attempts for settlement between the parties, so all matters are send for mediation first.
