The Union Territories (Laws) Act, 1950 is still in force or repealed.

Merged States (Laws) Act, 1949 is still in force or repealed.

What does this laws says actually.

Merged States Act is in Force as well the UT Act.... it all says about the States, their boundaries, jurisdiction, etc...

These acts are still in force. UT act is giving the status of the status state/UT. UT has enjoying some special status. Merged states acts has some transitional provisions temporary status etc..
