i am fighting my contested divorce for the last 2 years..my ex is very adamant on not giving me a divorce at any cost
however i would like to mention that i had my hearing yesterday and in that my ex came up with his petition stating that all i have stated is fasle and is just a got up case..he stated that he had never hit me and i had left the house in his absence which is all false..he even stated that i have extramarital affair and he knew it but was hoping that i wud change ..unfortunately for the sake of socitey i never filed any cases against him..i dont demand allimony, child custody or property..i till date want a settlement peacefully so he is not ready for that it seems..
my question is what do i do in such a scenario ..can u suggest me a lawyer in kolkata who has the capability to deal with such complicated issues and resolve it soon..i have already spent 40 thousand .am pennyles now..i want to get this case resolved this year..please help and let me know how can i do it ..
is it possible to impose a Domestic violence act now when almost 2 years has crossed? wont it spoil the case? wat are the other charges which i can impose now and which can lead to easy resolution of the case and soon

The matrimonial case does take some time to get disposed off.
To put pressure and also to get financial relief you can file case under PWDV Act and under other related laws.

You need to get the petition dismissed by leading your evidence perfectly to the effect that the contents of the evidence brought by your husband are false.
