Hello.
I just want to know that what happens when a government employee can't attend the republic day ceremony? Specially when he is responsible for the ceremony.

He may report reasons for non attendance to his superior.

depending upon the loss caused due to such absence the penalty can be anywhere between "censure" to dismissal from service with disqualification for future employment"
