suicide is sometimes temporary insanity. you have stated that the deceased wife left a note that she was suffering from frustration as she was struggling in her profession. so it is very likely that she committed suicide due to reason other than torture over dowry. she was married for 15 years. if she was tortured on the ground of dowry had she ever or any of her relatives who are now complaining lodged any GD or FIR?

Hello Suparna,
Neither lawyer nor society would be of any help to ur friend.
Only his own knowledge of law and warenes can help. Please visit www.savefamily.org and ask him to call any helplines.
May be they can help you. Otherwise there is no forum for men in India.

Suparna to some extent MR. Maiti is right.
i would better advice u to consult some local lawyer, because in criminal matter a lot is needed to be taken care of.
the whole set of evidence and the actual story all are important.
precise advice in this context can not be given here.
better have a sitting with a lawyer with complete facts in hand.
