Dear Sir or Madam,
Can an Associate Member (second name in the Sale agreement)contest for Managing Committee elections if the primamry member in this case my father issues a notice to MC that he permits me to act on his behalf his health not permitting him,
Or is there any provision under which the associate member could a member of the MC of a co-op hsng soc as most other members are not showing intrest to be in the MC..

Associated member if permitted by main member can contest the election under the provisions of Maharashtra Co-op Housing societies act.

Thankyou sincerely for your advise, however though I couldn't find it in the bye-laws, Appreciate if you donot mind, could you advise the reference in the Mah Co-op Hsg Soc Act please..
