In many Grampanchayat area, many families are granted land rights by thenth Malgujars. These residents are residing on land marked in records as Zudpi Jungle in 7/12. They do not have any documentary evidence for their right on the land but they are residing since the times of their forefathers - more than 100 years. What is the remedies available. Whether they can claim benefits of section 5 of MP Abolition of Proprietary Rights Act.

Such possessors shall have to apply before Tehsildar for the correction of the Khasra Girdawri (possession at site) in the relevant record and on that basis if the possession is shown for more than 30 years then all such persons can do apply for the proprietory rights.
