Possibilities of continuing the regular course in a private

One of my friends is pursuing bachelors (4th sem)as a regular course in one of the recognized universities of India. Now he is offered with a job on the basis of his plus two marks and wanted to know about the possibility of continuing the course further for two more sems in a private mode. Will he be able to do that? Or else should he start from the very first sem onwards in a private mode?

If the gut gets permission from his employer, how can he pursue the rest of the sems(5th and 6th) on private mode? Is there such a provision in our universities?

University does not have any concern with the employment of its student. A university is concerned with the fulfillment of its own terms & conditions to allow a candidate to complete the course and appear in the exam.
