This query is : Resolved
Respected plethora of experts, i have a grievance before you all. In preceding days i had learned that the expert panel of our LCI had resolved not to answer any questions regarding academic interest. sirs, "law grows with the growth of the society and strengthens with the strength of the society" the law is growing day by day and moreover our profession is a learning profession and every young lawyer like me who is thriving to gain knowledge will have many queries in academic interest and on real facts also. under this calamity many of us like me, consider you as our GURURS by answering our questions regarding academic interest, helps us to fortify our knowledge in the field and profession. Law is a ocean there in no one who knows every thing in such a situation we young lawyers though try to develop our knowledge from various sources we also expect that if senior bar members like our panel of experts answer our queries of academic interest it really gives us a thrust. There are many articles being published in our LCI web site they had been done only on academic interest to help the bar members. Like wise if our learned experts answer our queries regarding academical interest, it may also appear as a "short article" on the subject. As a member of the LCI i am writing this not to hurt the experts but with a sole intention expecting your guidance for our improvement in the profession by which we will be able to educate lame and illiterate people who approaches us for legal aid. As i am legal aid counsel of the district legal services authority of chennai, i am coming across many situations were questions relating academical interest are not avoidable. I really felt disappointed by your resolution to not answer any queries regarding academic interest. Hope, our learned panel of advocates will consider my humble plea and staunchly believe that our panel will revive its decision and will answer queries of academic interest in future. sorry, if i had said any thing wrongly but i am expressing my views as i really shocked to know that information. so, sirs please answer questions of academic interest also.
Thanking you in anticipation

Basu! The question you raised has really been taken into consideration while taking this decision. It is very painful that maximum time available with the experts to serve mankind through this forum goes wasted in replying the academic queries which in turn provides very lesser time for the actual sufferers so experts had to decide it. Though real persons like you shall have to suffer due to our decision but you all can read law books, can discuss and even make PM to any of experts but what about the real sufferers.

Mr.Basu,
You may see two types of academic queries in LCI:-
1. Academic query posted just to increase the hits to LCI, without any real live case. This query is posted by a common man and advocates.
2. Academic query posted by Ld.Advocates to help their clients. In this case, the defacto queriest is the client.
As for as the 1 is concerned, we need not spend our time in replying this.
As for as the 2 is concerned, let the advocate post the query, stepping into the shoes of their client. Let the query give the real picture of the live case in the first para. In the subsequent paras let the queriest ask his doubts.
By this we can avoid academic query, the advocate queriest will get the solution for their live case.
For our convenience, herein after we can describe academic query, Advocate's query.
IN case of the academic query, we need not answer.
In case the advocate's query (representing their client), described as above, following the steps described as above, we can reply.
When we are extending help to the common man, we can consider extending help to the common even though he is represented by the advocate.
This is my opinion. I go by the majority decision.
