Rules for common dish antenna

Dear sir,
I am the secretary of the society and we I. Committee has decided to have common dish antenna ( Tata sky) . This has been approved by majority but some people are opposing it.
Can we proceed with installation. As due to covid we are not permitted to have a agm. But on what's app group people have vote din majority.

The managing committee can decide within the financial limit prescribed in bylaws.It is only Administrative prorogatives.

AGM shall be conducted on the apartment premises and if there is a majority to approve it you can proceed. Otherwise, some may object to it through the Deputy Registrar concerned.

AGM should have been conducted physically or vertually, which has no relevance with installation of common dish. However, you (MC) can not compel all members /residents to take connection from same service provider.

Society can not compel all members to take such connection.

AGM could be arranged virtually. But no unwilling member could be compelled to subscribe to the common arrangement.
