Use of previous name after marriage

My wife changed her name after marriage on marriage certificate, however her all other documents are with her previous name (name before marriage ) & she want to continue with her previous name
In my office & all my policies, bank account, epf etc, I made her my nominee with new name. Since she want to continue with previous name, I have to make her my nominee afresh with previous name.
What is the procedure to do this ?
Please guide me right procedure so that she will not find any problem during claim if happens so.

you can change the nominee in bank and your insurance policies .

No need to change name. She can swear affidavit which would do ht needful.

Please tell what and how changes were made in the name. For the purpose you may use fictitious names/castes, if you do not want to disclose real name(s), for making experts fully understand your query for advice. Also, how name was changed in the marriage certificate.

1. First ask her finally by which name she like to be known in public official documents as repeated surname change are cumbersome process for updating the same in various public documents.
2. Once she makes up her mind that she like to retain her maiden name (prior to marriage) then respecting that get a Gazette Notification done. Afterwards using spare copies of the Gazette name change notification you can finally update in all respective documents her name and there is no need to nominate someone else as asked by you.
3. Marriage Certificate mentioned name is not conclusive proof and it is only a secondary evidences of marriage in case of family law used.
