According to new amended law in ipc section 354 which was a bailable offence an accused got bails from the police station but now 354 is sub divided into 354a, 354b , 354c , 354d all are non bailable offence , and difficult to get bail if you get the bail and after trial if you will be convicted then you will be put behind the bar for at least 1to3 years , and for 506 ipc it is a bailable offence and on conviction 2to 7 years of punishment for that , it dependent upon nature of threat given by the accused. 2. if you want to save your self from punishment then make a request the girl to forgive you in future you will not repeate this with any body too , if she will pardon you and she turn hostile in the court only then you will be saved yourself from punishment.3. engage a lawyer for handling your case .

Dear Querist

as per  criminal law amendment act  2013 the section 354D & 506 of IPC both are bailable offence and if the case has registered then you can get bail as right and no need to worry after getting bail fight the case on merit. if the trial court convicted you then file an appeal before appellate court and get relief.

the main safegaurd is depend on the allegations and evidence.
