Dear friends, Please... please be constructive as our friend Aishwarya had said. We are definetily talking about the false victims of this act. please dont take any issue as personal. We are here to know the loopholes in the law and to listen the problems of our society. Personal comments on anybody is not gud. please help each other that is my request.

I never support false cases but I never admit that all cases are false.Some people are here usiing derogatory words to all women/wife filing cases.U ,Ash ..etc never comlapined of those members.Even Ash was supporting them.Is it fair??

I just cant digest fake things..

After going through so many cases of people suffering from 498a...i am sure about one thing and that is that many women are using it to harrass their in laws. My family is also suffering from this. I got a lot of help from this site.,Thanks to all the expert lawyers. And you know I will not let my family suffer just because of a psycho cruel woman. I will fight till the end and will make her life hell. She has implicated me and my family into false cases . I hope god is watching.

the law should not be amended, it should be made stronger and effective, in 498a the girl statement should be taken as truth as she can not bring independent witness from outside when she is denied food, beaten in house and kept in confinement

I agree with you. I have seen many daughter in laws giving a shabby treatment to their in laws?? mother in law is mentally harrased. why there r no laws to protect the mother in laws??... now how can the womenn's statement to be taken as the final nd universal truth.this shows the rigid nd egoistic attitude of feminists. Arnt the mother in laws and sister in laws women?? nd is it the starting of a long famliy feud. If a husband nd his family is harrased and tortured by police nd blackmailed by the wife, its the time period of 3 years only that a man has to suffer but then he can make that women;s life hell forever if he is wrongly punished because that poor fellow has lost everything already.
