498A and cheating case

My friend's wife filed a false 498A on mental harassment and cheating case on him. My friend didn't complete engineering. He has few arrears and took up his family business later. When asked before marriage, he told the same to girl and her family. He Did not show any fake documents. And this was ok for them then. But now she filed a cheating case as well on him saying that he cheated her saying he is an engineer. How does this effect the whole case And also what kind of evidence should we produce to prove it wrong?? Is it something that we need to Wary about? Does this effect his AB?? The case is in FIR stage right now. Please advice.

498 A has nothing to do with his qualification dispute.

Sainath thank you for the response. What kind of evidence can we produce to prove it wrong?? Meant qualification dispute is just a lie??

We haven't got the chrgesheet... So little confused about this case. What section this case would be ?? And how severe is this??
