All,

  1. What are the chances of Success rate if we contest acquittal or for discharge petition in 498A case ?
  2. What is the general rate of conviction in these cases?
  3. In general,How long it will take for Judgement after Examination?
  4. What's Next step if convicted in Trial court?

1. It depends upon the peculiar facts and circumstances of the case.

2. It is very low. Every case has to be decided on merits though. An acquittal in one case doesn't mean there will be acquittal in another case as well, and vice-versa.

3. It can take up to a year.
