wife adopted a child before marriage.do the child has right in husband's property? |
1. IT is not Husband's Child in any way. Hence such Child has no right in said Husband's properties.
2. However Wife can claim from her Husband her share ( under various parameters) and THEN the adopted Child would stake claim in his adopted mother's property.
YOU may explain the above to your Professor, since even he would now this answer.

If the wife who adopted a child before her marriage has any property then the wife gift to her adopted child. But not on the property of her husband.

A single lady (wife before marriage as posted by you) has no right to adopt a child
How the husband is concerned qua adoptive child (if any) of the lady, his would be wife ?
Re-fabricate and frame your facts and question.

A simple answer is that child is not having any rights over the foster mother's husband's self-acquired property.
If the mother wants, there can be another adoption ceremony religiously and registration of such adoption, then the child may get those rights as legal heir for intestate property only. Even after adoption will is final for the self-acquired property.
