Hello,

As per my opinion, if the adoption deed is prepared in 1951 with all the precautions then it is a valid adoption deed. Even if it is not a registered document. You can take all the steps to prove your adoption deed in court.

Unregistered Adoption deed of year 1951, prior to Hindu Adoption and Maintenance Act 1956 is perfectly valid .Condition of registration of adoption deed prior to 1956 was not mandatory.you have to prove the adoption deed as per the law of evidence.
