Adverse possession

we hold a property for past 20 year, with no objection. we have made further construction, n alterations. depositing electric bill. can we claim mutaion of property. property is in name of society

You did not clarify the nature of the land whether it is patta land or government land. In the case of first one if you have document for 12 years in your possession you can claim adverse possession. In second case if the nature of the land is Government you should be in possession for 30 years without any distrubance. Then you can claim adverse possession even in second situation

I was wrong.    You were right according to Section 25 (3) of The Limitation Act, 1963.    Thanks for enlightening me.
