I want to register my marriage and obain marriage certificate from MCGM (Municipality of Greater Mumbai). One of the requirements is to submit the Affidavit for Registration which mentions that I have not registered my marriage elsewhere and I am solely registering it with MCGM. I can download a copy of this Affidavit from the website of MCGM but I am not sure on further procedure. Could you please help me with my questions on Affidavit for marriage registration:
1. With whom this Affidavit required to be authorized, i.e., simple notary or senior advocate of High court's stamp?
2. Do I have to get this Affidavit on a Stam paper. If yes, then on which value of stamp paper, Rs. 100 stamp paper?
